Monterey Retreat (Dog-Friendly)

This Air BNB was absolutely gorgeous very quiet and relaxing. Great for a needed getaway.

Our stay in Monterey was really nice. The place was accurately depicted in the listing, the backyard was beautiful, and we had a lovely stay. There were no scissors, bottle openers, or corkscrews in the house so just be cognizant of that before you go! If you take dogs there were some neighborhood dogs, and one turned up in the yard one day, but it didn’t come back after that. I would also advise to make sure your pets are flea and tick treated, as it’s a very woodsy area.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in that area. Also, absolutely check out Sapori di Napoli… great food and atmosphere!

This home and surroundings were peaceful with beautiful wooded views with 3 nice decks to enjoy nature from.

Adorable property! The exterior was like a fairytale cottage. The house was clean and we had no issues. You could sit on the back deck on both levels to enjoy the nature surrounding the property, which we loved! I wished I would have packed a throw blanket to have to get a little more cozy so keep that in mind if you are going. The only other thing I wished I knew before going is that while there are two showers pictured one is inside (upstairs) and the other is by the sauna. There is a bathtub on the first floor but no shower head. We did a lot of hiking and just took turns with the one shower and it worked out fine. There was plenty of outside activities within driving distance. We hiked and kayaked and went to a lovely winery. We had a great trip and appreciated staying in this beautiful house.

This cabin was wonderful! It’s super close to downtown Monterey so shopping and restaurants were very convenient. The cabin was well furnished and very cozy. We loved it and so did our dog. We plan on booking this cabin on our next trip to Tennessee.

We absolutely loved this cabin! As soon as we walked in it felt cozy, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all you need and the grounds are lush and green. Monterey is minutes away so shopping, grocery, and wonderful restaurants are highly accessible. This is a very nice place. We will rebook this cabin the next time we visit family.

It was beautiful but had a few mishaps.We got there and there was a dead bat in the sink.We called and reported it and maintenance was sent out within 2 hours. They were great about it.It just grossed me out and smelled the rest of the time even after we cleaned it. It was also extremely hot upstairs. Other than that it was fine!

The setting was exquisite, rustic, and peaceful. We hope to return in the near future.

Beautiful setting
