This is a very nice house that is well of the beaten path if you want quiet and privacy. Close to waterfalls which we enjoy going to. The wrap around porch gives different views of the property and the large windows are great for early morning breakfast and watching nature. This was our second time at this location and we will stay again when available for future trips. thanks

An immaculately clean home within striking distance of some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the U.S. The amazing views of rolling hills, old barns, and deer feeding in the fields was enough, but the home itself was perfect for our family weekend getaway. You could relax on the screened in porches, play air hockey, ping pong, or cornhole. The location was ideal within close distance of state parks, waterfalls, lakes, or quaint towns with great restaurants. Can't say enough about the amenities and quality of this home, the maintenance staff that made it sparkle, and the superb communication from the rental company that kept you informed about everything you needed to know. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly cleaned. The kitchen and baths thoughtfully stocked, and the staff very kind and attentive. The location was very near Rock island state park which was breathtakingly beautiful. If you're able I'd recommend the blue hole trail. If you want to get away from it all and spend some quiet time in a beautiful setting then this is it.

Whispering Water at Rock Island Shores is an immaculate, serene experience. Book it now! Don't look any further! The pictures can not do it justice. The actual construction and attention to detail are incredible. It's newly constructed, sturdy and kept super clean. The beds were very comfy and linens of high quality. We loved the wood floors, walls and ceilings and the windows in the living room were exquisite. The best part is it is the perfect location to Rock Island State Park and Fall Creek Falls State Park. The best waterfalls are at Rock Island State Park which is literally 10 minutes away. We would take our hot tea and coffee there with our lounge chairs every morning to watch the sunrise on the falls. Fall Creek Falls State Park had an amazing waterfall too but the hike down was an "ankle biter"....the colors of the leaves were absolutely exquisite....totally worth the 45 minute drive. You will totally enjoy your stay!!!

The two bedrooms with respective bathrooms are divided with a lovely living room and kitchen dining area. The cinema style comfortable automatic recliners that allow for movie nights is a pleasant plus. So great family time during the day and privacy at night. The screens porches that accompany both sides of the house are accessible from the bedrooms and from the living room. The area is beautiful and green and beautifully designed with a little outside sitting area and the ping pong table makes for fun family time! The service provided from the office and for maintenance is excellent. I highly recommend!

Whispering Water Chalet was beautiful and my sister, brother, and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The only problem was small, the coffee maker didn't work, and the wonderful staff came out with a new one for us.

This was the perfect location to begin our weeklong vacation as it allowed us to unwind and relax and enjoy the Tennessee beauty before heading to Nashville and all it has to offer. Enjoyed Cumberland Caverns, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Rock Island State Park and the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Lynchburg, all of which were located within easy driving distance. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

We were in town for a funeral and found the cabin to be the perfect place to reflect on our family's grief. It was quiet, spacious, and well equipped to entertain our boys, ages 8 and 11. The porches were hands-down the best and the furniture throughout was well-built. I prefer to sleep alone so took the sofa bed, which was honestly very comfortable. I will return here.

This place is amazing. I don't think anything I could say would do it justice. It's on a beautiful piece of property surrounded by farmland and overlooks a small river (it's too steep to easily access). The house is very comfortable and has everything you could ask for to make your stay enjoyable. It's really close to Rock Island State Park so great hiking and other activities. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was pretty remote but very relaxing. The home had extremely nice furnishings and everything needed for our stay. You don't see this often in rental homes. It was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this home to others.

This home was just what my family and I needed. Spacious, clean, and great views. Enjoyed the fire pit on the back porch. Will definitely like to visit again!

This property was everything we could have wished for - extremely well equipped and maintained. The location was wonderful; while it was somewhat remote, being from Alaska we felt right at home and appreciated being able to get away from the hustle and bustle! A lot to see and do in the area with golf, distilleries, a cave, and lots of beautiful scenery. We look forward to visiting again as we absolutely loved the area and this property!

This rental home is just beautiful. We had such a nice time here that we decided to extend our stay an additional 4 days. The home is spacious and exceptionally clean, with beautiful views from the porches and windows. There are plenty of places to relax both inside and out. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of games to keep even the pickiest ones busy and happy. We enjoyed playing corn hole and air hockey and seeing deer in the nearby fields. Some were even spotted walking through the backyard. Beds and showers were good. We were happy to have a washer and dryer so no laundry when we got home! The home is quite comfortable and quiet. We now consider this home as one of our favorite rentals. We highly recommend.
